Key Responsibilities
As a Motor Technician, your duties will include:
- Repairing and servicing the full range of Škoda, SEAT, CUPRA, and Volkswagen vehicles, as well as other makes and models, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Completing PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) and routine servicing on new and used vehicles.
- Staying updated with the latest vehicle technology and applying this knowledge to diagnose and repair faults.
- Observing safe working practices for yourself and your colleagues.
- Working closely with the Service and Parts teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Performing road tests to ensure repairs have been completed to a high standard.
- Completing all required service documentation (job sheets, PDI forms, and service reports) in compliance with Health & Safety, warranty, and dealer requirements.
- Maintaining the highest workshop housekeeping standards, including the proper use and care of tools.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with Volkswagen Group vehicles (advantageous but not essential).
- A proven ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently and effectively.
- A professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.
